Mm MSN is such a tool. And such a pain in the ass. Like, waiting. So yeahh, not really such a good day. Or yesterday, even though watched Golden Compass with family. ( Its only so-so, didn't explain the full implications of everything like the book did. And I'm PISSED they DIDN'T include the ending where the Bible and Dust comes in. Humph.)
Anyway, wrote a poem during VJCs semifinals and finals, here it is. (Blessing or curse, I wonder? I still don't know if I should have went. Dah hell. )
A rose.
A blood-red beauty.
But like any other.
A sight to see when young.
But when nearing its death
The colours
fade away...
Much like you.
When a rose nears its death,
A beauty it is no more;
When the bright hues,
once vibrant,
now gone
dulled by the years
Much like you.
And look at you now,
once vibrant, once beautiful.
Once loved.
Look at you now;
nothing more
but a memory of your existence.
Like a dying rose,
your colours
have faded away.
A rose falls
on the lifeless stone
and slowly,
so slowly,
I walk away.
OH yes, and special thanks to Shirley for trying to cheer me up when she herself was not in the best of moods, and impossible feat I assure you. Thanks a lot, sis, for everything you've done, including the biscuits. You've made my half a year special. And as such, a big fat thank you.
(I know you hate this smiley but I dont care ><) (=
Sigh. And the wait continues.
